DIY TIME

Join us during regular hours for DIY TIME—an open, relaxed session where you can choose from the creative projects available in the studio that day. Want more options? Schedule ahead and we’ll have everything prepped and ready when you walk in. If you decide to drop in, we’ll take just a few moments to gather your materials and tools before you get started. You settle in, begin creating, and we’re right here if you need a little guidance along the way. No experience needed—just bring your curiosity.

PRIVATE PARTIES

Gather your people and let’s create something beautiful together. Whether you bring your own project idea or choose from one of ours, we’ll provide all the materials and tools you need right here in the studio. Everyone leaves with their own handmade masterpiece and sweet memories to match.

Private parties are available during regular hours or after hours with advance booking. We recommend a group of at least 10 guests to keep the energy lively and the space cozy—if your group is smaller, we may ask to open the invitation to our extended Flowers and Light community.

KIDS PARTIES

Celebrate your child’s big day with a hands-on creative experience they’ll always remember. We provide all the materials and tools, and every child gets to make and take home their very own masterpiece—no mess at your house, and all the fun right here in our studio.

Choose from our selection of kid-friendly projects or bring your own idea—we’ll help bring it to life! Parties are available during regular hours or after hours with advance booking. We recommend at least 10 young makers to keep the celebration buzzing. Smaller group? We may invite a few of our studio friends to join the fun.

Come as you are and leave with something beautiful. Whether you join a workshop or a class, you’ll enjoy a hands-on, creative experience with all materials provided—just bring your curiosity and a friend or two.

Workshops are relaxed and flexible—perfect for all skill levels. You can move at your own pace, so you might be a step ahead or taking your time to catch up, and that’s just fine.

Classes are more structured, with everyone moving through each step together, guided closely by your instructor. Some classes may span multiple sessions, especially when building a skill like sewing—starting with the basics like reading patterns and gradually working up to finishing a garment or custom piece.

Whichever path you choose, you’ll leave with something handmade and heartfelt—and the joy of learning along the way.

At Flowers and Light, our faith is woven gently into the heart of what we do. While we welcome everyone and never impose our beliefs, we also don’t shy away from sharing the hope and truth we hold dear. You’ll find that reflected in a special collection of biblically based items throughout our studio.

From Weekly Scripture Boards with interchangeable verse cards to wooden Bible story “night lights” that gently share God’s word with little hearts, our faith-focused pieces are created to inspire and encourage. Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to pre-schedule my appointment for DIY Time?

Nope! You’re welcome to stop in or give us a quick call to make sure we have space available. We’ll be happy to get you set up when you arrive.

That said, some projects require custom prep and may not be available on the spot. If you have something specific in mind or want to be sure your materials are ready, scheduling ahead is the best way to go. Of course, if you’re open to exploring a few creative alternatives, we’ll always help you find something fun to make, even without a reservation.

How can I start working on my project?

Contact our team, provide us with your artistic vision, and we’ll swiftly develop a comprehensive plan that bring your ideas to life.

What should I do to handle guest invitations?

We have several options to make sure all the guests you want to include are notified and can RSVP.

Is it possible to change the date of my booking?

Feel free to get in touch, and we will make every effort to accommodate your request! We do allow for cancellations but there is a separate policy for that, which is provided upon scheduling.

What is the billing process like?

Once you request a time online, we’ll first confirm availability. If your request is approved, we’ll send you a payment link to submit a 50% deposit and secure your reservation.

The remaining balance can be paid anytime between booking and the day of your event. In some cases, special circumstances may call for adjustments to this policy—we’re always happy to work with you when needed.
